NEW: Exploring Grief, Alone & Together
Focused journaling and group support for those experiencing loss - family, friend, pet, or self.
It can be a lonely road to grieve on your own. Sitting in the swirl of emotions with no place to put them can lead to physical, emotional, and mental stress. Issues compound when you’ve no place to share them.
Utilizing an approach to overcoming trauma and building resilience detailed in the book, Expressive Writing: Words That Heal, we will journal each week, reflect on what we’ve written, and share insights, challenges, and progress. Your writing is yours - no one will be required to share what they wrote. Instead reflections on what has been learned and experienced will lead to shared understanding and personal resilience.
12 sessions | October 27, 2026 - January 12, 2027 | $180
Early Bird 20% discount: $144 if paid by October 15
Groups will be capped at 10 participants to ensure adequate time for sharing. As possible we will place participants in session aligned with similar losses.
Through weekly writing prompts and reflective exercises, you’ll find space to breathe, to be honest, and to begin healing—even while your story is still unfolding.
Developing a practice of writing alone and together will enable you to be more fully present with the world around you, and to support your own grief journey.

There is a lot of research on the different types of loss and grief. Anticipatory Grief is simply a way to explain that period of loss prior to death. For instance, when your loved one has lost physical or mental capabilities or when you are dealing with a difficult diagnosis.
These losses are no less important, no less real than those experienced after death.
